Thanks to the wonderful video Ellen made for me, I was able to draw Nekton pretty well, I think, considering I couldn't get it at all, before.
My shading is a little heavy and muddy, a challenge I'm working on.
Nekton is quick and fun to draw!
Ellen, thanks to you, here is my practice tile for Nekton.
I am continutally amazed by the friendliness and generosity of spirit of the people I've met in the repeat pattern drawing (and Zentangle in particular), community. What a great bunch of people!
Have you caught the Zentangle(c) bug? I'm hooked! I hope you will journey with me in my learning adventure.
Welcome!

The most wonderful surprise in all of this , has been finding such a warm and wonderful community built around this art form. Without exception those I have encountered are encouraging, friendly, generous of spirit, and great fun! Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome. I hope you will enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy yours.

ReplyDeleteIt's the least I can do, Helen. I tried for so long to "get" this pattern, and with one beautiful video, you helped me. I love the pattern and have always wanted to use it. Now I can, thanks to you. Happy tangling Ellen. Have a great weekend!
